The reception desk is open 08.00 – 18.30 Monday to Friday. The surgery is closed at weekends and Bank Holidays. Consultations at the medical centre are by appointment. Patients can express a preference to consult with a specific practitioner and we will do our best to abide by these wishes subject to availability of appointments. Patients requesting urgent appointments should phone the surgery before attending to be given a time to arrive, thereby eliminating too long a wait.
Extended Surgery Times
In collaboration with One Thornton Heath PCN surgeries, our patients have access to the PCN extended hours Hubs based at Parchmore Medical Centre Parchmore Medical Centre, and Upper Norwood Group practice Upper Norwood Group Practice. The late evening surgeries run from either of these sites until 8pm, from Mondays to Fridays, and on Saturdays.
Consultations during these periods will be by appointment only. Patients attending the surgery with appointments during these sessions will need to ring the buzzer to gain entry to the surgery. During these late evening sessions the surgery will not be able to take telephone enquiries. Patients will still be able to contact the Out of Hours Service after 6:30pm in the usual way and normal surgery times will still apply.
